Fifty high school marching bands from Missouri, Minnesota, Oklahoma, Mississippi, Louisiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Texas, South Dakota, Indiana, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Arkansas, and North Carolina will perform in the 2006 Bands of America Super Regional Championship at St. Louis, presented by Yamaha on Friday and Saturday, October 20 & 21st at the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis. 

Bands of America (BOA) is the nation's leading presenter of educational events and spectacular shows for high school bands. The BOA Super Regional Championship at St. Louis is one of 17 Bands of America Championships to be held across the nation this fall. Several previous Bands of America Grand National Champions will perform, including the 2005 and 2003  and 2002 national champions. Gates open at 12:15pm Friday. with preliminary performances from 1245pm to 7:30pm. Gates reopen at 7:30am Saturday with the remainder for preliminary competition until 4:00.  Presentation of preliminary awards is set at 4:00 with gates reopening at 6:15pm for Finals Competition.

Tickets are $15 for prelims, $20. For finals or $40 for a combo prelims/finals 2-Day Pass for premium reserved seating and are available at the box office on the day of the event. For more ticket and schedule information for this and all BOA events visit www.bands.org.
